Long non-coding RNAs responsive to salt and boron stress in the hyper-arid lluteño maize from Atacama desert

In the present study, we performed a comprehensive identification of lncRNAs in responses to combined stress induced by salinity and excess of boron in the lluteño maize, a tolerant maize landrace from Atacama desert. A deep paired-end RNA-sequencing of maize leaves and roots stressed by NaCl and B were used to identify the lncRNAs. Approximately 23.4 million of paired-end reads were obtained.
