The fauna of Renney Rocks is not especially rich, and there may be some doubt as to whether it is particularly suitable for monitoring. However, there is a good variety of intertidal algae. Due to effects of spraying the upper tidal shore between the outer reef and the raised beach is not very typical at the moment and should not be included in any detailed work.雷尼岩礁（Renney Rocks）的动物区系并不十分丰富，其是否特别适合开展监测工作尚存疑问。不过，该区域的潮间带藻类物种多样性较为丰富。受喷溅作用影响，目前外礁与抬升海滩之间的潮上带岸线并不具备典型性，因此不应纳入任何详细研究工作中。
