Recommendations for Additional Imaging in Head and Neck Radiology

Multi-institution, multi-practice, single urban/suburban Massachusetts healthcare system retrospective observational cohort data. All head and neck (skull base, face, and neck) CT and MRI examination performable codes were identified across all sites in our healthcare system, including two large tertiary/quaternary care referral medical centers and a subspecialty hospital, each with their own academic physicians’ groups, and several community hospitals staffed by a group of private practices. All consecutive head and neck CT and MRI examination reports from June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022 were then extracted from our data warehouse. These files include patient and provider data associated with the reports.
