<b>Large herbivore grazing accelerates litter decomposition in terrestrial ecosystems</b>

Plant litter decomposition is crucial in global carbon and nutrient cycling, while the underlying mechanism of the effects of large herbivore grazing on litter decomposition remains unclear. We synthesized sixty-six manipulative field experiments in terrestrial ecosystems to examine how litter decomposition and nutrient cycling respond to grazing intensity. Also, the R code used to analyze the effects of grazing on multiple variables associated with litter decomposition was provided.
