Study the feasibility of large-scale implementation of electric buses in the city of São Paulo

The transport segment is one of the main factors responsible for global CO 2 emissions, due to the majority use of combustion engines. One of the solutions proposed by experts is the replacement of combustion-powered vehicles with battery- powered electric vehicles (BEVs). Despite this, there are some variables that hinder the popularization of BEVs, including the advancement of technologies and cost, which often make users opt for traditional models, powered by combustion. This article focuses on studying the feasibility of large-scale implementation of electric buses in the city of São Paulo.
