Whole-genome characterization of Escherichia coli isolates from PROBAC-Ec multicentre study

In this project, whole genome sequencing (MiSeq™ System, Illumina) was performed on 224 E. coli blood isolates from patients presenting with sepsis/septic shock (according to SEPSIS-3 criteria) and 101 patients without sepsis, recruited from 22 Spanish hospitals.
