The Road Register is the medium-scale reference database of roads in Flanders. It must contain all (publicly accessible) roads of Flanders, with associated attribute data. Road register also includes the slow roads. Slow roads are paths or roads intended for non-motorized traffic. Hikers, cyclists and riders are the main users. The Road Register is divided into small road segments, each of which runs from intersection to intersection (nodes). A crossroads is a point where two or more roads converge.
