U.S. consumers dining out at casual dining restaurant chains 2012-2013, by frequency

This survey illustrates the dining out behavior of U.S. consumers in the past six months prior to the survey. Three percent of respondents stated in 2012 that they have been eating out in casual dining restaurant chains much more frequently in this period. In 2014, the revenue of the casual dining restaurant industry in the United States amounted to almost 92 billion U.S. dollars. This was forecasted to reach 101.5 billion U.S. dollars by 2020.
