The TA, Taylor Noble, gave the group of Martina, Jessie, Mark, Patrick and David a large jug of soapy water and ten bowls, with three different colours of bowls, to prepare pan traps. At 3:30 PM on Tuesday, September 30th, the group went to Danby Woods at York University and placed all ten bowls a foot apart from each other in a straight line in the following colour pattern: white, yellow, blue, repeat. Later at 5:00 PM that same day, the following data was collected: total number of invertebrates, total number of different species, and name of species.
