EOS-RS Flood Proxy Map: Isabela Province, Philippines, Floods from Typhoons Toraji, Usagi & Man-yi, 19 Nov 2024

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created this preliminary Flood Proxy Map (FPM) depicting areas that are likely flooded in the Province of Isabela, Philippines, due to heavy rainfall from Typhoons Toraji, Usagi, and Man-yi in Nov 2024. This map was derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) before (17 Feb 2024 to 11 May 2024) and after (19 Nov 2024) the event.
