Dataset of a computational research on block coordinate search based on building performance simulations

This is a dataset regarding a parametric exploration performed by on the results of building performance simulations. This dataset has been used by the author to study the inner workings of sequential block searches (specifically, block coordinate search allowing for overlaps) and define some heuristic indicators to guide the design of that kind of search structures. The results are accompanied by the data and the program that have been used to obtain them. The program is named OPTS, a tool I have written to manage parametric exploration through the use of ESP-r building performance simulation platform. An older version of OPTS has been used in the experiments, but the data should work for the current version as well.
