Supplementary 3D Landmark and Semilandmark Data for: "A Reappraisal of the Frontal Bone and Mandibles of Late Pleistocene Hominins from Maludong, Southwestern China: A 3D Geometric Morphometric Perspective"

This dataset provides the original raw 3D coordinate data for the study: "A Reappraisal of the Frontal Bone and Mandibles of Late Pleistocene Hominins from Maludong, Southwestern China: A 3D Geometric Morphometric Perspective." The study employs 3D geometric morphometric techniques to investigate cranial and mandibular shape diversity in the Maludong fossils alongside comparative hominin samples from diverse geographic and chronological contexts. The data covers three distinct landmark configurations: the frontal bone, the complete mandible, and the partial mandible. All coordinates were collected using Stratovan Checkpoint software. Each file represents a specific analysis, and individual sheets contain the coordinate data for each specimen (including both Maludong fossils and all comparative samples).
