Processed Near-bottom Multibeam Sonar Images from the Lau Back-arc Basin acquired during the Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN234 (2009)

This data set was acquired with a Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam Sonar system on the AUV D. Allan B. during Thomas G. Thompson expedition TN234 conducted in 2009 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Joseph Resing; Investigator(s): Dr. David Clague). These data files are of PDF format and include Swath Bathymetry images and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Neovolcanic activity in the NE Lau Basin - Cruise Webpage and Northern Lau/Tonga Eruption Rapid Response - MARGINS, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE09-29411, OCE09-29881, OCE09-30025, and OCE09-34660.本数据集由搭载于自主水下航行器（Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV）D.艾伦·B号的Reson SeaBat 7125多波束声呐系统采集，采集工作依托2009年执行的托马斯·G·汤普森号调查船航次TN234开展，本次航次首席科学家为Joseph Resing博士，研究人员包括David Clague博士。本数据集文件均为PDF格式，包含条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）图像，且所有数据均在采集完成后进行了后处理。本数据作为两项研究项目的组成部分采集：分别为「东北劳盆地新火山活动」航次专题网页及「北劳/汤加喷发快速响应——MARGINS计划」，研究经费由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）的多项资助项目提供，资助编号依次为OCE09-29411、OCE09-29881、OCE09-30025及OCE09-34660。
