1) Data Content: This dataset is a report on thermal infrared and short-wave infrared spectral data from typical drill holes (including a 3000m deep drill hole) in the Jiama Mining Area, and constitutes systematic hyperspectral measurement data collected from the typical section of the Jiama porphyry metallogenic system. 2) Data Source and Processing: The data were obtained via direct field measurements using on-site instruments. Specifically, short-wave infrared spectral data were collected with a FieldSpec4 spectrometer manufactured by American ASD Inc., while thermal infrared spectral measurements were conducted using an Agilent 4300 thermal infrared spectrometer. 3) Data Quality Assessment: All spectral data measurements were conducted in strict accordance with the design requirements, and were analyzed and processed using The Spectral Geologist™ (TSG) analytical software combined with thin-section identification. 4) Data Application Achievements and Prospects: The hyperspectral data from the Jiama Mining Area is a systematic summary of the spectral data of the thick and large skarn orebodies in Jiama, and a typical spectral exploration model has been established, which can facilitate the exploration and evaluation of similar skarn deposits.
