资源简介:
Seismic refraction and multi-channel seismic reflection surveys were conducted on the northeastern Hawaiian Arch to examine the effect of hotspot volcanism on the seismic structure of the crust and uppermost mantle. The original multi-channel seismic data acquisition and processing was done by JAMSTEC. The pre-stack depth migration processing was carried out at University of Hawaii. The JAMSTEC Kairei system cosnisted of an airgun source volume of 7800 cubic inches, and 444-channel x 12.5 m receivers. The processed PSDM data is stored in SEG-Y format nd is referenced in the Ohira et al., 2018 paper. This data set was generated as part of the project called Oceanic Crustal Structure of the NE Hawaiian Arch, and funding was provided through NSF award OCE13-55468.
