The Water Framework Directive (WFD) introduced a new concept of diagnosing and monitoring the quality of water bodies, both surface and underground. The concept of water status reflects the degree of human pressure on aquatic ecosystems and the level of deterioration of aquatic ecosystems in relation to unaltered conditions.水框架指令（Water Framework Directive，WFD）引入了一种全新的水体质量诊断与监测理念，覆盖地表与地下两类水体。水体状态这一概念，反映了人类活动对水生生态系统施加的压力程度，以及水生生态系统相较于未受干扰原始状态的退化水平。
