Vedolizumab (VDZ) is used to treat patients with IBD but the exact way it works is not known. We studied the immune system in the blood and intestine of patients treated with VDZ and found immune characteristics that correlated with response. Mucosal biopsies from UC and CD were digested for single cells and FAC sorted for Treg and Tmem subset sorted from PBMCs and biopsies Total RNA sequencing of 940 samples
