Two sampling rates were employed. In incorporated places of less than 2,500 persons, half of all housing units and persons in group quarters were included. In all other places, one-sixth of the housing units or persons in group quarters were sampled.本数据集采用两种抽样规则。针对人口不足2500人的建制居民点（incorporated place），将所有住房单元的一半与集体居住场所（group quarters）内人员的一半纳入样本；针对其余所有地区，则对六分之一的住房单元或集体居住场所内的人员进行抽样。
