The Financial Consequences of Populism: Evidence on Financial Inclusion and Financialization
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the empirical analysis reported in the manuscript “The Financial Consequences of Populism: Evidence on Financial Inclusion and Financialization”. It includes country-year panel data used to construct the populism, financial inclusion, and financialization indices, as well as the macroeconomic control variables used in the empirical models. The dataset covers the period 2010–2022, with 2012 excluded due to data availability limitations. The Excel file includes two balanced panels: one for financial inclusion, covering 66 countries and 792 country-year observations, and one for financialization, covering 67 countries and 804 country-year observations. It also includes documentation of the variables, sources, and data structure.
