Carmen Rameshwar In a woodlot area of York Univerisity's Campus, adult white ash trees were selected at random. Transect measuring tape was used to measure the DBH of Adult White Ash tree's and their canopy coverage was estimated using a scale system. Next, the distance to the nearest sapling of the same species was found and recorded. The DBH of the sapling was then recorded.
