Characterization of ParB-binding and condensin loading sites on the C. glutamicum chromosome

Chromosome folding and segregation are tightly regulated in all domains of life. However, in bacteria these processes are only poorly characterized in few model species. We investigate chromosomal interactions of DNA partitioning protein ParB and condensin complexes, two key players in bacterial nucleoid structuring, in the actinobacterium Corynebacterium glutamicum using chromatin immunoprecipitation.
