Share of smartphone owners who bought via mobile in Brazil 2015-2023

In August 2023, about 95 percent of surveyed smartphone owners in Brazil reported having made at least one purchase of a physical product through a mobile website or app. This marked a significant increase from 2015 when only 41 percent of respondents indicated similar behavior. Notably, the e-commerce's average revenue per user (ARPU) in Brazil experienced a decline in 2022.
