Table III: CO2 emission per capita and energy consumption per capita

The study opens the empirical discussion by examining the causal relationship between carbon emissions and energy consumption, credit to the private sector, and economic growth. In column (1) of Table III, the study documented how the lags of CO2 emissions affect the present, while in column 2; the study reports how CO2 emission is affected by the growth in the economy, credit to the private sector, and energy consumption per capita in Africa.
