VADEM_Validation_Dataset

This dataset contains responses from 748 participants (416 players, 170 coaches, and 162 referees) to the Multidimensional Values in Sport Questionnaire (VADEM), developed to assess values and countervalues in sport. The dataset includes 28 questionnaire items (14 values and 14 countervalues) organized into four dimensions: organic, cognitive, emotional, and relational. It also provides eight dimension scores and five participant-related variables. The repository contains three files: VADEM_data_base.csv: Dataset comprising 748 participants and 41 variables. VADEM_dictionary_variables.xlsx: Variable descriptions, coding, response scales, and scoring procedures. README_VADEM.pdf: Study methodology, data processing, and ethical considerations. The original date-of-birth variable has been removed to reduce identification risks. The dataset supports the psychometric validation of VADEM and facilitates further research on values and countervalues in sport. License: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
