The whole genome Sequence of a multi-drug resistant Streptococcus agalactiae XJSC-1 from camel in Xinjiang of China

Streptococcus agalactiae is an important zoonotic pathogen and the primary pathogenic bacteria causing latent mastitis. There is a lack of research on Streptococcus agalactiae of camel origin. Streptococcus agalactiae XJSC-1 strain is a strain isolated and identified in our laboratory, which is resistant to a variety of antibacterial drugs. The genome data of the strain was obtained to further clarify the multi-drug resistance characteristics, drug resistance genes and virulence gene information of the strain, enrich the types of hosts of the gene bank of Streptococcus agalactiae, and provide basic data for the research of multi-drug resistant Streptococcus agalactiae.
