资源简介:

This dataset supports the article "Integrated LCA-AHP Assessment of Alternative Marine Fuels: Incorporating Methane Slip and CO2 Emission Trend Projection to 2030" (Atakan Yıldırım, İsmet Tıkız, Kocaeli University). It contains the data used in the statistical analyses of the study. Files 1. CO2_emissions_2019_2023_harmonized.csv Annual fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by year, region (Europe or Asia), country and ship type, 2019–2023 (473 records). Columns: Year, Region, Country, Ship_Type, Total_Fuel_Consumption_t, Total_CO2_Emissions_t. Used for the regional trend analysis and the projection to 2030 (Sections 3.5 and 3.11, Table 2, Figs. 3, 6 and 9). The United Kingdom is reported only for 2019 and the Republic of Korea only for 2023; the trend analyses use the ten countries reported in all five years. 2. Vref_EEDI_By_Year_By_Ship_Type_corrected.csv For 11 ship types and each year 2019–2023: number of ships delivered, mean design speed (Vref, knots) and mean attained EEDI (gCO2/t·nm) from the IMO EEDI database (GISIS, status 10 May 2024), with the annual fuel consumption and CO2 emissions (t) of each ship type. Used for the regression in Section 3.4 and Supplementary Table S5. Vref and EEDI are left blank where no ships were delivered (combination carriers in 2020, 2022 and 2023). 3. IMO_DCS_Fuel_Mix_By_Year_By_Ship_Type.csv Annual consumption of each fuel type (t) by ships of 5,000 GT and above for 14 ship-type categories, 2019–2023, taken from Table 2 of the IMO DCS annual reports (MEPC 76/6/1, 77/6/1, 79/6/1, 81/6 and 82/6/38). The annual totals equal those of the reports. CO2 is calculated with the IMO carbon conversion factors of resolution MEPC.308(73). Used in Section 3.3, Fig. 2 and Supplementary Table S4. Units and format Fuel and CO2 in metric tonnes (t), Vref in knots, EEDI in gCO2 per tonne-nautical mile. Comma-separated files, period (.) as decimal separator, no thousands separators, UTF-8. Version note (v2): This version replaces v1. The data were harmonised to tonnes, the speed variable was corrected (the v1 "Vref" column contained attained EEDI values), the fuel data were re-transcribed from the IMO DCS reports and checked against their totals, and files not used in the study (NOx, SOx) were removed.
