Programs of the Marshall-Hall Orchestral Concerts 1892-1910

This is a collection of digitised programs of the Marshall-Hall Orchestral Concerts, held in the University of Melbourne's Digital Repository. G.W.L. Marshall-Hall was the first Ormond Professor of Music at the University of Melbourne. In 1892 he founded the Marshall-Hall Orchestra, conducting the majority of its 111 concerts and many others before the orchestra disbanded in 1912. This unique collection of the orchestra's programmes details the development of its repertoire from the standard classical fare to modern works, including commentary on the works by Marshall-Hall himself. The collection consists of 139 items in pdf format.
