Estimated government budget allocated to performing arts in Italy 2023, by segment

The Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) allocated to opera shows the highest budget reserved for the performing arts industry in Italy in 2023. Based on the provisional data for that year, the government assigned around 281 million euros for such events. Meanwhile, the MiC allocated roughly 120 million euros to the live music industry in 2023.
