Baynes Sound Meteorological Station Deployed 2019-10-22

The Lufft WS501 (S/N 227.0218.1009.225) Weather Station was deployed on 2019-10-22 at Baynes Sound. Baynes Sound is located between Denman Island and Vancouver Island. This device is a Meteorological Station. Meteorological stations are instruments that make routine meteorological measurements on the atmosphere and are comprised of a suite of sensors. Typical examples of measurements include temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed and direction. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

Lufft WS501型气象站（序列号：227.0218.1009.225）于2019年10月22日部署于贝恩斯湾（Baynes Sound）。贝恩斯湾地处德内曼岛与温哥华岛之间。该设备为气象站（Meteorological Station），即用于对大气开展常规气象观测的仪器组合，由多套传感器集成而成。典型观测项目包括气温、气压、相对湿度、降雨量、太阳辐射、风速与风向。本设备搭载于固定平台之上。本次部署产生的观测数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外提供，所有数据均遵循既定规范完成质量管控，并生成了配套衍生数据产品。
