Geothermal withdrawal capacity in W/m: 2400 Operating hours — up to 100 m drilling depth

The map of near-surface geothermal withdrawal performance is an overview map for the use of geothermal heat by means of geothermal probes. The interactive geothermal map makes it possible to read for the depth level 100 m the geothermally available specific withdrawal power in watts per metre probe length [W/m] for heating and hot water operation (2,400 operating hours) based on a so-called standard type single-family house in Saxony. The specific withdrawal rate is shown, which varies depending on the geological subsurface conditions in the area.
