The study interested two sites: Baishilazi Nature Reserve (40°54′46″ N，124°47′00″ E) and the experimental forest farm of Liaoning Institute of Forest Management (40°52′31″N, 123°56′43″E). Soil samples were collected in August 2017. Each sampling site consisted of 3 blocks (20 m × 20 m) with a distance greater than 100 m. In each block, 15-20 soil points were collected at a depth of 0-10 cm using a soil drill along an “S” shaped path, mixed together and placed in sterile plastic bags as a replicate sample, and then samples were stored in ice boxes. The full study contained a total of 12 plots allocated to two study sites.
