Palestine Fake news Dataset : PFND

The Palestine Fake News Dataset (PFND) is a manually collected Arabic-language dataset designed for fake news detection and credibility classification. The dataset contains over 3,000 news items, focusing primarily on current events related to Palestine. All news articles were gathered from publicly available Arabic news platforms.
The dataset is structured in a main directory named “PFND”, which includes two sub-files:
credible.csv – containing news items verified as credible
incredible.csv – containing news items identified as incredible or satirical
Each CSV file includes two columns:
body_text – the full Arabic text of the news article
label – a binary value indicating the credibility of the article
1 → credible
0 → incredible (not credible)

Incredible or non-credible content was sourced from:
Al Hudood, a popular Arabic satirical news website that intentionally produces fictional or humorous content.
