L. piscium CNCM I-4031 was described as a bioprotective bacteria on seafood products. Evidence of growth inhibition was shown on Brochotrix thermosphacta and Listeria monocytogenes. The whole genome sequencing allows to investigate this inhibiting behaviour in food ecosystems.
