Quick keys to the Bominae genera of South Africa (Araneae: Thomisidae)

In this paper, keys are provided to identify the genera Avelis Simon, 1895, Holopelus Simon, 1886, Parabomis,1901 and Thomisops Karsch, 1879 and their species in the field and from photographs. With their small and round bodies they resemble seeds and may easily be overlooked in the field. The latest information on their distribution and conservation status in South Africa is provided.
