In this experiment at Waiākea Forest Reserve, we tested the efficacy of the semiochemical repellent, verbenone, in commercial SPLAT® Verb formulation, at protecting healthy and rapid ʻōhiʻa death-Ceratocystis infested ʻōhiʻa from ambrosia beetle colonization in the 2022 and 2023 field seasons. Data files include 1) raw beetle counts, 2) individual tree information, and 3) verbenone mean peak area.
