We sequenced to near-completion the genome of Pseudomonas aeruginosa 910 a clinically relevant isolate responsible for infecting multiple high-risk patients with serious burns. The organism was isolated from a water outlet of the burns unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, UK. A 4 contig assembly was generated de novo from 80x coverage PacBio RSII data using HGAP before being error corrected with 20x coverage Illumina MiSeq data using Pilon.
