Data and code to compare metadata quality of Figshare records related electronic theses and disserations

These datasets and code support an examination of how well research outputs associated with electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), and shared on the Figshare platform, adhere to the _{FAIR principles}. <br> Metadata were harvested using the Figshare API (_{https://docs.figshare.com}). The resulting datasets include a 709 metadata records for datasets, figures, and media and 46 Collections that surfaced in a search for 'thesis OR dissertation.'<br> <br> Aspects of this work were _{presented as a poster} at the Southeast Data Librarian Symposium 13-15 October 2021.
