Debris DGM City of Bremen

The off-road dumping is developed from rubble pictures of the digital terrain model. During the rubble, the terrain is represented as a gray value image. The terrain model is illuminated with a virtual light source from northwest, and the gray value is calculated for each pixel. The rubble image makes the terrain shapes (railing relief) vivid and shows mainly valley gradients, incisions and dams.
