This dataset contains a collection of magnetic field simulations based on Penrose tilings, performed using the Finite Element Method Magnetics (FEMM) software. The goal is to explore how quasiperiodic geometries influence magnetic field propagation, distribution, and emergent properties compared to conventional periodic tilings. The project is organized into three main components: /rudimentary/: basic FEMM simulations demonstrating field interactions in simple Penrose arrangements. /enhanced/: advanced simulations incorporating modified Penrose tilings and extended geometries to highlight more complex emergent behaviors. /img/: a curated selection of 6 images illustrating unique magnetic properties extracted from the simulations, including localized intensities, symmetry breaking, and quasiperiodic diffusion patterns. Additionally, the repository includes: A Jupyter Notebook (coordinate generation.ipynb) used to generate the node coordinates for Penrose tilings. A reference visualization (tiling array generated coordinates.png) of the computed lattice points employed in the FEMM models. Key magnetic field properties were evaluated for over five distinct tiling setups, providing comparative insights into how quasiperiodicity alters field confinement, symmetry, and potential resonance behaviors. By publishing this dataset, we aim to provide both raw simulation files and supporting visualizations for researchers interested in: Quasicrystal-inspired metamaterials, Novel electromagnetic field propagation studies, Magnetic pattern design for applied physics and engineering contexts. The dataset is intended to be reproducible: users can re-run FEMM simulations, modify parameters, or extend the Penrose tiling coordinates to generate new field patterns.
