Cyvirus cyprinidallo 3 (CyHV-3) I73R Genome Sequencing Reads

The CyHV-3 FL BAC plasmid was altered to knock out CyHV-3 ORF112 and replace it with a galactokinase gene (galK) resulting in the plasmid CyHV 3 BAC ORF112 KO. This plasmid was further modified to replace the GalK insert with the gene encoding African Swine Fever virus (ASFV) I73R resulting in the plasmid CyHV-3 I73R. After transfection of this plasmid into CCB cells, resulting reconstituted CyHV-3 I73R virus was harvested from the viral supernatant. DNA was extracted from semi-purified virions and submitted to Illumina paired end sequencing
