Stable isotopes from tubular carbonate conduits of rock-sediment sample GeoB11319-1@en

Tubular carbonate conduits (TCC) are exposed on a secondary terrace at the SW Peak of Athina mud volcanoes Anaximander Mountains, eastern Mediterranean Sea. Three carbonatic phases compose the TCC sampled at Athina mud volcano: the micritic high-Mg-calcite, the clotted and fibrous aragonite and the detrital infilling. The stable isotopes of carbon and oxygen data from the sample studied show the influence of the anaerobic oxydation of methane in the formation of TCC.管状碳酸盐通道（Tubular carbonate conduits, TCC）出露于地中海东部阿纳克西曼德山脉阿西纳泥火山西南峰的二级阶地之上。采集自阿西纳泥火山的TCC样品由三种碳酸盐相构成：微晶高镁方解石、团簇状纤维文石以及碎屑充填物。本次研究所分析样品的碳、氧稳定同位素数据表明，甲烷厌氧氧化作用对TCC的形成存在影响。
