The X-ray emission of magnetic ApBp stars

We propose XMM observations of a sample of four magnetic, chemically peculiarlate B stars to test them for intrinsic Xray emission and its relation to themagnetically channelled wind shock (MCWS) model. The aim is to investigate theXray generating mechanisms in intermediate mass stars in greater detail.
