Dataset: Effect of COVID-19 vaccination on the incidence, lethality and mortality of pregnant and postpartum women

To analyze the incidence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, lethality and mortality of Brazilian pregnant and postpartum women infected with SARS-CoV-2, before and after vaccination against Covid-19.This is an ecological study of time series, carried out with secondary data from the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Indicators of incidence, lethality and mortality in pregnant and postpartum women infected with SARS-CoV-2 were calculated. The total of first and second doses, as well as the booster dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 administered to pregnant and postpartum women in Brazil were analyzed. Trend changes were detected using the generalized fluctuation tests and the F-test. Mann-Kendall test was applied to identify slopes in the time series. Generalized Additive Models were used to model the time series, and the interaction effect between time and vaccination was also considered. Pearson's correlation test and an ANOVA test were applied to compare the average monthly incidence, lethality and mortality rates in the periods before and after the first peak vaccination of the first dose.
