Field Data on Propeller Wash Induced Dynamics in the Houston Ship Channel

These data have been collected as part of a Coastal REsearch And Transportation Education (CREATE) Tier 1 University Transportation Center project funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The project title is "Quantifying Vessel Propeller Wash Impacts on Sedimentation in Shallow-Bay Ports and Waterways". Data include derived products from vessel-mounted Acoustic Doppler Current Meter (ADCP) transects across the Houston Ship Channel (HSC) after large vessel passages to determine hydrodynamics and sediment suspension produced by these vessels. In addition, resistivity probe measurements are presented.
