Data connected to publication Functional insights into a putative 2-OG oxygenase involved in jasmonic acid metabolism and xylem development in Populus trichocarpa Plant and Cell Physiology.This data set includes raw data, method protocols, and sequences in terms of open research data. These findings provide new insights into the hormonal regulation of vascular development and may have practical implications for improving wood quality or stress resilience in trees.Methods used to obtain the data were:Microarray analysis – gene expression analysis;Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) - mRNA localization;MEGA 7 - phylogenetic analysis;RT-qPCR - gene expression analysis;LC-MS/MS - confirmation of enzyme activity by liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry;Light microscopy - anatomical analysis;Immunolocalization - localization of JA;Structural biology techniques - protein structure modeling, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulations to confirm JA binding by the studied proteins.
