Filtered gene set model of the <i>Alectoris rufa</i> genome

In this supplementary data, we provide the high-confidence gene set model for the assembled Alectoris rufa (red-legged partridge) genome. This includes three annotation files in the GFF3 format: All_gene-set_model_of_Arufa: This file contains the complete gene set model for the Alectoris rufa genome. High_confidence_8509_gene_model_by-RNAseq: This file contains the genes model found in the Alectoris rufa genome and were confirmed by RNA sequencing (RNAseq) data. 19266_non-redundanre_gene_by_orthologs_or_RNAseq: This file contains a non-redundant gene set confirmed by either: 1) The presence of orthologous genes in closely related species (Gallus gallus (chicken) or Coturnix japonica (Japanese quail)) or 2) RNAseq data from Alectoris rufa, This is the recommended annotation gene set for further downstream analysis. These files provide a valuable resource for further research on the red-legged partridge and related species.
