Land use by Landsat 2010

The satellite image evaluation is intended to determine current land use data for Baden-Württemberg for environmental purposes. Multispectral LANDSAT-TM5 datasets from 2009 and 2010 were used for this purpose. With the preparation of this land use map, a comparable survey commissioned by the LUBW from 2000 will be continued. The data set provided has been developed according to uniform criteria throughout the area and is applicable in a scale range starting at approx. 1:100.000 based on technological conditions of the satellite system.
