These files contain data supporting the manuscript's research: "Recurrent Lightning Spots: Where Lightning Strikes More than Twice."

They are organized in the following folders:

-Days per month RLS Catalunya There is the xls file "RLS catalunya- monthly distribution" with the days with lightning for each month in each RLS in Catalonia. With this data, we produced Figure S7. Monthly distribution of the average number of days with lightning at RLS for different types of RLS in Catalonia.

-GFD and RLSThere is one folder for Barrancabermeja and another for Catalonia.Each one contains 2 xls files:1) One with the number of flashes for the ~10 year period and GFD in each grid cell for the grid of 20 km x 20 km for the whole region.2) One with the number of flashes for the ~10 year period and GFD in each grid cell for the grid of 20 km x 20 km in each RLS.With these data, we produced Figures 1 and 8.

-RLS heightOne file is for Barrancabermeja and another for Catalonia, indicating the height from the center of each RLS cell. With these data, we produced Figure 7.

-Shapes RLSThere is one folder for Barrancabermeja and another for Catalonia with the geographic information from the RLS locations.With these data, we produced figures 2, 4, and 6.

-Slope mapsThere is one folder for Barrancabermeja and another for Catalonia with the geographic information from the slope categories from the terrain for all the regions.With these data, we produced Figures 3, 5, and 6.
