A cytokinin receptor mutant Osckt1 was isolated in rice and showed insensitivity to 6-Benzylaminopurine (BA). Whole-genome expression analysis was conducted to identify key metabolic and signaling pathways downstream of this receptor in cytokinin regulation root development. Roots of 8-day old wild type and mutant plants treated with 0.2uM BA were used for analysis.
