Woodlot Data Set 3

This data was collected by group 4 which consisted of Navdip, Shelly, Carmen and Dorsah. It was sunny yet windy outside when the data was collected. First a tree was chosen of any type and the circumference at breast height of the tree was found. After this the tree was observed from a close and given a condition rating ranging from 0 to 2. Then a second tree of the same type was found and the distance between the two trees was recorded. These steps were repeated for 10 pairs of trees. Once all the data was collected, the circumference at breast height for ever tree was then used to find the diameter at breast height for each tree. For this a simple equation was used, diameter = circumference/pi.本数据集由Navdip、Shelly、Carmen及Dorsah组成的第4小组采集。数据采集当日室外晴朗且伴有大风。首先选取任意树种，测量其胸径周长（circumference at breast height）；随后近距离观察该树木，并给出0至2分的状况评级。接着找到另一株同种树木，记录两树间的间距。上述流程重复执行，共完成10组树木对的数据采集。全部数据采集完毕后，利用每株树木的胸径周长计算其胸径直径（diameter at breast height），计算公式为：直径=周长/π。
